Aviary Pop Out Class Card

I recently saw this card and technique being presented by Alison Solven at a WOW Workshop presentation at Stampin Up Regionals.  We are going to be making this amazing card at my club/class on Friday March 18th and Sunday March 20th.  Need a few hours to express your creative self?  Love to make handmade gifts, but can't seem to find the time or a quiet spot at home?  Enjoy time out with friends, including refreshments and plenty of good conversation?  If you answered "yes" to any of these questions, then come on out to a Girls Night of Stampin'.  I will provide the space, do the prep work, and even clean up the mess!

This card features the sweet Aviary set.  I've been using it a lot lately.  Its so versatile, and I love how I can mix and match all the sweet little birds and bird cages.  The pop out/pop in technique featured inside the card  will be sure to "WOW" the person who receives it.  This little card is jammed packed with technique and embellishments.  It's going to feature embossing, 2 step stamping, markers, and popping up/out technique.  Embellishments will include dimensionals, pearls and ribbon.  Wow!  Thats a LOT to pack into one project!!!  This little card is going to take us a loooonng time to make (trust me).

Products used for this Project:
Stamp Sets: Aviary, sentiment from Great Friend
Card Stock: Certainly Celery, Basic Black, Marina Mist, and Whisper White
Ink: Basic Black, Certainly Celery, Daffodil Delight, Melon Mambo, and Marina Mist
Accessories: Big Shot - Perfect Polka Dots Embossing folder, Beautiful Wings Embosslits die, Basic Pearls, Dimensionals, Marina Mist 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon, Sticky Tape.

Because this card is probably going to take us the whole class, I'm going to send the ladies who attend home with all the pieces they will need to put this card together themselves at home:

I'm going to be posting a tutorial on this blog soon so they can follow along on how to put it together. You will be able to follow along too.  I will also be putting together a class by mail option for this card as well.  Stay in touch!
